I was first licensed in 1975 (age 14) with a call sign of WB3GOZ. I purchased a Kenwood TS-520 transceiver that I bought brand new from money I saved from shoveling snow around the neighborhood in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

There was a gap between my current call sign of N4ATS and WB3GOZ because of the 16 year old (age) "fast car" era (I was into 1967 Camaros).

In 1984 I began a career as an RF Engineer with the Lockheed-Martin Co. (Staff RF Engineer). I have been employed there for 26 years and plan on retiring from there as well.
